Dr. Paul Breckenridge

Dr. Paul Breckenridge graduated from Kansas State University in 1986. His wife, Jody, was a career Coast Guard officer and, until her retirement, he “followed the fleet”, working in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. He has been a police officer, a manager for a science project in Antarctica, and an officer in the Coast Guard. Dr. Breckenridge has worked in shelter medicine and surgery at the Marin Humane Society and San Francisco SPCA, both in California. In January 2011, he volunteered for his first HSVMA-RAVS trip to Ethiopia, and joined the team full-time in 2013.

Dr. Breckenridge enjoys studying science and history, working with wood, hiking, biking, and spending as much time as possible with his four children and  three grandchildren.
