Samantha Gamble, DVM, MPH, MBA
HSVMA INDIANA STATE REPRESENTATIVE

Dr. Samantha Gamble graduated from Michigan State University with her DVM and MPH with a certificate in applied parasitology. She obtained her MBA from Western Michigan University where she focused on change management and marketing. Her diverse background includes working in casino marketing to traveling internationally working with numerous non-profit organizations on projects focused on animal welfare and public health. Dr. Gamble’s professional interests involve access-to-care, community-based one-health initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Gamble is a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians in Harbor Springs, MI and her tribal culture has always been very important in shaping her both personally and professionally. Working with tribal communities across the US on access-to-care and public health initiatives has been an ongoing and never-ending passion. Dr. Gamble is the co-founder of Four Directions Vet, a veterinary mobile HQHVSN/Wellness clinic whose mission is to offer underserved communities, including animal rescue facilities and tribal reservations, an accessible and affordable option for spay, neuter, and basic wellness services. She is forever grateful for the work, heart, compassion, and tenacity of animal welfare teams, and is honored to be able to partner with them to help rescue groups and communities in Indiana.

Dr. Gamble has two dogs named Waabooz and Skoden and one cat named Fats Domino. In her spare time, she loves to travel, sleep, and eat. She is also a talker, so small talk with strangers is never off the table. She has been trying to be fluent in Spanish for years, and she is still trying.
