Michael Greenberg, DVM

Dr. Greenberg completed his training in shelter medicine with the Maddie's® Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.

Since that time he has worked clinically and as a consultant for multiple public and private animal shelters throughout the United States.  Currently he is the medical director for Pet Community Center in Nashville, TN.  There his primary focus is on programs that reduce shelter intake.  In addition he works as an outreach shelter veterinarian to organizations in the southeastern US.

Dr. Greenberg works with low-cost clinics, shelters and rescues of all sizes, and has a particular interest in developing inexpensive ways to use data and technology to help improve efficiency and more effectively target life-saving efforts.

When not in Nashville Dr. Greenberg enjoys volunteering with several international organizations, participating in spay-neuter and vaccination campaigns throughout the world.
